10…9…8…7…6…5…4…3…2…SEND
This new years eve, experts are estimating that 730 million text messages will be sent in the US around the stroke of midnight (that’s about 2.5 texts per person in the US). Close behind is the UK with 280 million text messages this new year’s eve (about 4.5 messages per person). With so many messages being sent in such a small time span, many networks are bracing for the impact and warning users of delayed messages. A report out of the UK suggests that 70% of text messages sent will be delayed. In larger cities such as London the study reports that 23% of messages will be delayed six hours or more. Before the clock strikes 12 this new years eve you might want to send out your holiday wishes a little early to insure timely delivery. Have a safe and fun New Year’s Eve from the HouseFront Team. The end of the year is always a time to reflect on what was 2007 and Yahoo’s compiled [...] |

December 21st, 2007Happy Hour: It’s like having two me’sBy: Chris Brubaker There’s only so much time in a day, and only so much you can get done, you only have two hands…right? Well now you don’t have to worry about finding a third hand or hiring a personal assistant (which most of us can’t afford anyways). Sunday thinks they have the perfect [...] |
