When planning a quick get together or a birthday bash using online invitation systems help automate the invitation process. One such company making it even easier to plan those holiday parties this season is Evite, an online party planner allowing users send out and respond to events via text messaging.
Evite works by sending emails to guests, allowing them to respond back if they are attending or not through a linked webpage. Evite Mobile has now made the process even simpler, allowing everyone to receive and respond to party invitations via text messaging. Creating an event is simple and easy with their event wizard, though you must manually enter in all of your friend’s phone numbers.
Evite’s mobile features offer party hosts the option to be notified of guest’s responses through text messaging; and for guests the option to be notified of party changes and a reminder 24 hours before the event. With these new mobile options Evite is doing a great job at offering its users a quick and easy way to plan get togethers, along with keeping everyone up to date and informed about what’s going on.
The company also offers users access to a mobile website (http://m.evite.com), and plans on extending its mobile presence in the future with the development of a downloadable cell phone application.
