Five Days left

There’s five days left in 2007, better finish eating all those holiday cookies so in ’08 you can hit the gym running and swear off all that trans fat, and high fructose corn syrup. The end of the year is always a time to reflect on what was 2007 and Yahoo’s compiled a list of what kept everyone’s attention all year.

Surprisingly real estate didn’t make the top searched news in 2007 even with all the attention different news media made of it. Topping the list of news items searched on Yahoo was Saddam Hussein followed by Iran, Iraq and President Bush. Seems foreign affairs topped the minds and search results of users across the country.

Making waves in the tech category was heavy weight YouTube, free encyclopedia Wikipedia, everyone’s favorite social site Facebook followed by the big three…iTunes, iPod, and last by not least iPhone. Of course, top searched items wouldn’t be complete without a celebrity list.

Unfortunately the list represents the most troubled celeb stars. Do we even need to say who’s number one…Britney spears, enough said. Others topping the troubled celebrity list were Paris Hilton, Anna Nicole Smith, Vanessa Hudgens, hotproperties.png followed by Nicole Richie. If you’re one of those people that can’t get enough celebrity news check out our Hot Properties blog where we highlight goings on in celebrity real estate each Monday.

Yahoo’s top searched lists really does a great job of reminding us of what went on all year. While HouseFront didn’t make the list this year we’ve already got a few scandals planned and hope to make the top 10 troubled stars list next year. So enjoy what’s left of ’07 and be ready, 2008 is the year of HouseFront.
