Text Thursday: The cure for memory loss

Text Thursday

Kwiry logoDriving in the car, watching TV, or shopping, it happens everywhere. You think of something you want to remember. There’s usually a couple of options you can take to remember what you just thought of, write it down (whoever has a pad of paper), or use your phone’s voice recorder (and then you forget you put it on your phone). One company thinks they have the answer to this problem, Kwiry pronounced query.

Kwiry allows people to use text messaging as a way to remember things. Texting whatever you thought of to 59479 (spells kwiry). Here’s where the service really shines, Kwiry takes what you sent and searches on Google, Yahoo, iTunes and more. Your thought is then saved on Kwiry for you to claim later, along with search results.

To prevent you from forgetting that you sent something to kwiry, you are sent an email reminder. The only suggestion I have for Kwiry is to send the search results in its email to you (instead of having to log in), it cuts down on the number of steps it takes to use the service.

If you’re looking for a reminder tool Kwiry is a solid system officially helping you remember everything while on the go.
